Professional Programs

Northwest TeleHealth facilitates programs, events and continuing education for several health care facilities throughout the region. The following provides a short description of the professional events that utilize the Northwest TeleHealth Network.

EMS Live@Nite
This live, interactive program utilizing interactive video conferencing is broadcast monthly to rural and frontier communities in Washington, northeast Oregon, northern Idaho, Montana, the Aleutian Islands and southeast Alaska. Participants include Emergency Medical Service (EMS), fire and law enforcement personnel, public health and hospital staff and other members of the community. Community Health Education & Resources (CHER)
CHER can help you better understand and manage diabetes through our comprehensive diabetes education program taught by registered nurses and dietitians who are certified diabetes educators, appointments are held at O.C. Olson Diabetes Education Center locations throughout Spokane. Diabetes patient consults are held every Friday, by appointment, 1 to 4 p.m. For more information call (509) 232-8145.

  • Urology Tumor Board - 2nd Thursday of every month from 7 to 8 a.m.
